I create bespoke pet portraits in pastel and oil, working from photographs provided by the client. My focus is on capturing not only likeness, but the small details that make an animal instantly recognisable to those that love them.

Estate Canvas Oil Portrait

Painted in oil on fine linen canvas and designed as a statement artwork for prominent spaces within the home. Oil allows for depth, richness and a sense of permanence that develops over time.

Estate Canvas portraits follow a slower, traditional process and require an extended drying period before framing and delivery.

Estate Canvas portraits are offered as memorial commissions. For those who wish, a small portion of ashes may be carefully incorporated into the paint layers, handled with the utmost care and respect throughout the process. This is an entirely personal choice - a quiet physical connection between artwork and animal.

Finished works are professionally framed in solid wood frames with appropriate spacing to allow the painting to continue curing naturally. (Oil paintings require a longer completion period before delivery).

Materials, Framing & Delivery


Finished works are carefully packaged and delivered using an appropriate art courier service.

Delivery costs are confirmed at the time of booking and charged at cost. This ensures each portrait is transported safely according to size and value.

All portraits are created using professional, museum-grade materials selected for their longevity and professionally framed in natural wood.

  • A 50% deposit secures your commission and booking
  • Reference photos and details are discussed privately
  • One round of minor refinements is included
  • The remaining balance is due upon completion, prior to framing and delivery.
